Eating, showering, sleeping and working with nearly sixty-something bitchy women with little to no interaction with males (with the exception of male instructors) down here over yonder in South Carolina...

Yeah, I'm tired. Three months of tired. Apparently, like a dog, Marines age twice as fast as normal. I'm tired, and I'm only in the beginning.

I'll answer shit when I can, be patient. I only get seventeen days of leave before I go back to training, this time for MCT. Twenty-nine days long. No computer, again, but I might get my cell phone. Maybe. Expect less of me after the...twenty-third of November. For twenty-nine days. I get to throw grenades, use machine guns, and fire mortar rounds. Yay, it's boot camp on crack! 

Don't worry. I'll post more details about my three month experience...when I'm not sifting through over three hundred emails, nearly four hundred. And that's just emails. I dread DeviantArt right now. Haha. xD 

Anyway, talk to y'all soon. I'm back and I kicked ass at the Crucible! It was literally, summer camp on crack, let's put it simply like that for now. xD Love y'all!

For those who don't know, and to remind those of who do know...

I have been sworn in for the United States Marine Corps. I am not backing out. I also have one week before I'm shipped off. I leave August 10th of this year to ship off to Parris Island, South Carolina. I will not be active on Livejournal for three months. I will, however, get some updates from people's personal journals; not communities. I'll reupload them all back on my watch list when I get back.

I am saying this so that anyone who questions where I have gone, you can refer to this journal. I will graduate in November, but as of the exact date, I am unsure of. If anyone has any urgent need to get ahold of me on this account, send a note and when I come back, I will TRY to answer ASAP when I return.

But, as a heads-up, I will say this: I will be sifting through three months' worth of deviations, journals, messages, activities and notes from my email and from DeviantArt account. I will probably be very busy and it may take me a while to sift through it all. So, please, be patient. I'll post a journal (if I can) that I'm back, and maybe I'll recount some stuff from the island...if I'm not traumatized enough. xD

I forgot a camera the first day of the anime expo and my camera phone sucks ass, so these pictures are a combination from day two and day three of AX. :D My mama was generous enough to lend me her camera, although the range on the camera and the little screen for viewing the pictures through was less than spectacular, it was better than nothing. Beware of randomness; the cosplayers had strange senses of humor. Or...something like that. xD


  Some more people I chased down before we left AX yesterday. x3 The girl doing the Edward cosplay was the best I had seen so far out of the whole of AX, I kid you not. She was with the Appa and Suki cosplayers. <3

Btw, I kinda agree with madeelly  on this. This TV list is kinda bullshit. :/ They don't have House M.D., NCIS, Fringe, Bones or any of the good shows on here. Some others will have to do, though. xD

You know what I hate?

When people post a move on Youtube. At least, only parts of the movie, actually, to be exact.

They post the first, the second and then skip all the way to the fifth, sixth and then all the way to the last video. Or, sometimes, they just only post from the second part and third part, skip to the fifth and that's it.

And I really wanted to finish Dead Space: Downfall. D: It was getting to the really good, gory, nasty parts, too... 

Does anyone know of any good Ice Age fics? Ones that have good grammar and spelling, preferably. xD 

 I just got done with Grad Nite. IT WAS FUN.

First off, we did start off late when leaving the school. Originally it was scheduled for nine, but we left around nine-thirty. It was a long drive, but at least we didn't run into traffic until we got to the parking lot. That took forever and a lifetime to get through; apparently, there were over four hundred buses coming in that night. xD Haha. It was a long walk to the front gates, but damn, it was worth it. Good exercise! 

Oh, man, though, I was up from yesterday 'til today and I only had a three hour nap to sustain me. Then again, I had some coffee and soda...and a churro. Also a salad, pizza and some rice krispie treat. xD FOOD. IT'S GOOD FO R YOU.

The only problem is, I forgot my bloody camera to take pictures. It was fun as fuck; I went on Pirates of the Caribbean first and foremost. Who didn't see that one coming? Seriously. xD And, I experience Haunted Mansion without all the Nightmare Before Christmas revamped decorations. It was cool, but I wasn't seriously spooked, since I've worked in a haunted mansion-type thing once. I know how it all works. xD Except, it was without the costumed people; it was all special effects and computer graphics. :3

Then I chilled and wandered around the park with some friends for a long while, but the Matterhorn died on us before we could get on it. It kinda sucks. :/ Oh, well. There's always next time. It took another forever and a lifetime to get the buses this morning, five thirty--an UNGODLY HOUR--but I had my books to entertain me. <3 

Then, I did an insane thing. I stayed at school as soon as the buses made it back. I stayed in my webdesign class for nearly hour hours, working on my mock website. I've gone completely numb in the head from looking at the damned thing. Even if all my links to each page are fucked up, I don't care. I got all the pages fixed. I got all the pages done, over and said with. It's finished. Fuck it. I don't want to look at it anymore. xD But, now my finals are technically officially over. 

I just need to bring pretzals to my creative writing class for my final, which is to present the magazine I've helped work on all this semester, so I'm excited. I'm getting a copy for myself and my mother, so happy days! x3 She'll probably be looking for all my things. Bloody hell. xD

So, fun times. I'm still wide-awake, even though I've up for...almost over twenty-four hours, without putting my nap in the mix. I'm kinda used to this stuff, though. I'm an insomniac. It comes with the territory. xD I like staying up, dammit. (lol)

Decided to change my LJ layout. I like it.

Aaaand, I'm exhausted from working. Very dizzy...need rest. And food. That would be good...

I have my desktop, Blackout, back.

Everything is just the way I left it. All my (outdated) files, and all. I am still updating shit, and replacing old files with new ones, adding new ones to old archives, deleting useless things, etc...

I shall also be scanning in my pictures soon. I have several, however, hanging up in my art room at school, so those will have to wait, but all in all, I have a good majority of my pictures that are finished to scan. I am happy, although I wish the people who had been working on my computer fixed it more...properly. :/ Like, getting the bloody thing out of safe mode so I can have proper navigation through my system, my computer isn't so slow--probably clogged with other shit I should look into--and that Internet Explorer could be replaced with Safari. But, considering safe mode is my only thorn with the computer...everything else is fine.

I'm just happy to have Blackout back now. It means no more laptop on my desk and that means, more desk space! 8D I can do work on it now! xD *lol*

 So. I saw this movie, called Prey. It just finished up and I kinda liked it. It reminded me of Cujo a lot, but it had its strange twists. Instead of a mom and her son, there was a stepmother, stepdaughter and stepson all trying to survive in a safari car against a pride of very hungry lions. It was interesting, to say the least. I wouldn't call it "Oscar Worthy" and whatnot, but just one of those kinda movies you would suggest if you wanted something to pass time with. Aaaand, that's exactly what I'm doing. 

...Just too bad that everyone lives and the lions lose, but hey, that's my kind of ending: the animals getting their meal out of every character in the story. xD

And I thought I'd just be random and post a movie I just saw. I'd give it a...B. 

On another note, I'm actually getting past my writer's block for Up is Down! So glad, because it has been sitting for over half a year, untouched and I was starting to wonder if I'd ever get around to starting it up again. So, yeah, having fun. Gonna post new chapter sometime later next week.
